Vectis is a free, unofficial fan-made tool for Star Citizen FPS data, published by Dabalta, an individual running it as a non-commercial hobby project and acting as the data controller. This policy explains what we collect and why. For any question, contact us at vectis.fps.data@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google or Discord, our authentication provider (Supabase) receives your email to identify your account, but Vectis does not store it in its own database, display it, or use it. We store your display name, avatar URL and which provider you used. If you choose to support Vectis, Stripe processes your payment and we store your Stripe customer id and subscription status. We never receive or store your card details.

Why we use it

To create and secure your account and provide supporter / premium features. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Who processes it

Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments) and Cloudflare (hosting). Each only processes what is needed to run the service.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the account window; this removes your profile and billing record. You may also contact us to request deletion.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and object to its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at vectis.fps.data@gmail.com. If you believe your data is mishandled you may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

Cookies and storage

We store an authentication session in your browser to keep you signed in, and we save some preferences on your device (such as your theme, display options, and any loadouts you save) so they persist between visits. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and you can clear it at any time from your browser. No advertising or tracking cookies.
